I’m way out there, too. It’s my personal belief that the evolution into something more than human is inevitable. You can’t stop it, just like the Luddites couldn’t stop the Industrial Revolution.
Consider that the evolution into posthumans is possibly the only way life can survive. Perhaps the only reason we even exist is so we can become…God. Of course, I’m talking about life in general, not human life. The living beings that eventually evolve into gods will most likely be the cockroaches, long after we wipe ourselves out.
