If a hurricane the size of Rita is predicted to make landfall at a given time…you must remember the outer bands will be feet-dry about 24 hours prior to the eye coming ashore. Been there. Not good for travel. Not good at all. You need to be smart, and break for cover…NOW. This bitch is some Bad Bad Juju.
