If’ I’m not careful, I’m going to burn this motherfucker down.
I just reconfigured my network. Well not really, I nuked all the connectivity I had before. Reconfiguration would be an understatement. The shit was in the way, know what I mean. I have 15 + (IP’s) devices that all talk to each other, and I disconnected all of it, threw all of it in a fucking tub (Dining Room). I even nuked my wireless shit. Fuck it! Windows, LINUX, UNIX…didn’t matter…I chucked it all, and took no notes. I even slammed a couple of routers “up againstâ€? the wall. I wonder if they’ll start.
Then,,,I hosed it all down.
The ole saying, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix itâ€?, is bullshit. I say, “change it for the better, and change it oftenâ€?.
The real question is: can I reconnect all of this shit “back upâ€? and it work? I have no fucking idea. The Blog shit is easy, but the multiple database connectivity is the question. ODBC drivers, coupled with dissimilar operating systems, can be tricky. Can I do it from memory? We’ll see.
I’ve got about 8 billion miles of cable…most of ‘em the same color. How stupid is that?
Reminder to self: Color schemes.
Anyway, my bet is…I can…
Y’all have a good night!!!
