WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Arab-Americans contended on Tuesday that bias and bigotry, not security concerns, lay behind the uproar over a deal that would place commercial operations at six U.S. ports in the hands of an Arab company.
The furor centers around the $6.8 billion acquisition by Dubai Ports World, owned by one of the United Arab Emirates, of London-based Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Co. P&O had been running operations at shipping terminals in New York, New Jersey, Baltimore, New Orleans, Miami, and Philadelphia.
First of all there is “no such thingâ€? as an Arab-American, African-American, European-American, etc. An American is American. Plain and simple.
Let me get this straight…we want to “essentiallyâ€? abandon some or our major entry and exit points / ports (for money), and give commercial operations control, to an Islamic company.

Your either an American or not. Color don’t make an American. Culture from another place does not make you an American.
The Gov. likes to make dirty little deals and we the people have always been told its for our good. The media always went along with it as long as it was their agenda too.
