…but I’ll settle for dinner…or a wall mount. Probably won’t happen, but this would be too sweet. I’ve been told I’m going to the wrong side of Central America…for sailfish fishing on a fly…need to be on the Pacific side…they say…I say fuck ‘em…might get lucky…it ain’t like chess.

UNIX = STAMINA

Regarding my previous post: I also have a SCO UNIX box that has been running for 3,347 days, or 9 years and 2 months, without a involuntary reboot. I took it down twice…the first time is when I had to move it to a different city…the second time when we installed a natural gas UPS [...]

LINUX = STABLE

I booted one of my Linux servers just for the hell of it. It had been running for 563 days without any problems whatsoever. Red Hat Enterprise…Informix Database. I’m downtown with that!
