The Juju Woman took this photo while we were cruising up the crocodile infested Rio Nueve in Belize, on our way to Lamanai. This is a small one, probably about a five or six-footer, but it could send you into the afterlife in a second. There is no swimming, or water-skiing going on, and you definitely don’t want to fall out of the boat. We saw many larger, but this was the clearest photo.
Our guide did not have a gun, and even if he did, you get in the river, and you’re probably done…as in dead. Crocodiles are like sharks, that attack from below (in water), and they only live to eat and reproduce, and of course…to catch some rays on a fallen tree.
For every one you see, you can bet that there are a hundreds (or more) of it’s buddies you can’t see.
This is some major Bad Bad Juju.

If I saw one of those things up close and personal, I can pretty much guarantee I’d shit my pants.
Waded through rivers full of piranha, but I’m not sure I’d trust my luck with crocs.
And you went there on purpose? Good God, man!
