Writing On The Wall

For those of you who believe you don’t need a gun, you’re fucking crazy.  The fact is, if someone has one and you don’t…you’re done…if you have one, at least it’s fifty-fifty.  For those of you who don’t want to go through the hassle of buying a handgun, or getting a concealed carry permit…get a shotgun, preferably a 12 gauge.  Load it with buckshot, there is no better close up protection.  No one walks away from a shotgun blast.  It will come down to you or them, your choice.  It can also be used for harvesting Christmas trees…I’ve done it, and it works.  Yabu and I have brought down many trees with 00 buck.

Don’t leave the protection of your home and family to the likes of Janet “the system worked” Napolitano. Or Harry “the surge is not working, the war is lost” Reid.

As Yabu would say, there is some Bad Bad Juju coming, be ready for it.

If unemployment continues to rise, so will crime.  People will do whatever they feel is necessary to survive.

And then there is trash.

A friend of Yabu and mine…his wife and beautiful teenager daughter…had a “flat tire” on I-40 westbound.  Three Mexicans pulled up behind ‘em and got out of their (probably stolen) vehicle, and approached his disabled Volvo.  One of ‘em was carrying a fucking baseball bat.  My friend had a Glock , and drew “down” on ‘em.  The Mexicans broke for cover…he didn’t have to fire a shot.  911 was called…it took about 20 minutes for the troopers to arrive.  His wife told me…if he hadn’t had that gun, I don’t know what would’ve happened”.   I do, and she did to.  She now has a handgun (with permits) in her purse at all times.  It was too close of a call for her to ignore.  She got serious and decided the protection of her family was most important.  She did what most people need to do.  Get a gun, and learn how to load it, shoot it, and clean it.

It is what it is.

By the way, she got a .357 LadySmith…not that it matters.
