You haven't truly experienced them until you stand on bare asphalt in 100 degree heat for four hours, tilt your head back as far as it can go to watch them zoom overhead in perfect beautiful unison, and then fall flat as a plank on your ass. I got a free ice cream from a vendor who watched me splat, though. So it was all good. I love them. Saw them last year in El Centro.
