Women With Guns

About 239 years ago (May 16th, 1771), some say the first shots of the Revolutionary War were fired. That is debatable, but today I went to the Alamance Battlefield to learn more about the War of the Regulation.

Anyway, this nice young lady had to stop cooking to fire the cannon…actually she was the loader / rammer. Very cool…the barrel was original, and would send a 3 lb. ball a mile and a half downrange. Pretty impressive, for 1771, and loud as hell.

*** UPDATE***

It was brought to my attention I failed to mention the nice young woman was using Stick Science to do the ram / jam. Stick Science has been around for a long time…most people just don’t know it. In feudal Japan, the Samurai and Ninja used Stick Science. The sharp version.
