Our B-2 stealth bombers are getting a makeover to the tune of 60 million dollars each. That is a hell of a paint job, and I have no problem with it. Better than spending money defending illegals.
In 1997 dollars, the cost of a single B-2 was about $929 million per aircraft…the Air Force asked for 132 of ‘em, and Congress slashed it to 21. One of ‘em crashed in Guam, so we’re down to 20. Remember, our Congress threw the F-22 Raptor off the truck and under the bus. The B-2 can take off in the U.S. Midwest, fly halfway across the globe, spank our enemies, and return home…safe. That’s a long flight. I hear the crew of two goes to Walmart and buys lounging recliner chairs so they can take a serious, more comfortable, nap while they complete a 30+ hour flight. That’s a long flight…they do have to tank, but being in the air for that long…damn.
More power to ‘em.

Wouldn’t that be cool to fly though? Not as cool as the SR-71, but way cool.
