Little Mistakes Turn Into Big Problems

The Big Rock Marlin Tournament was recently held off the coast of North Carolina. Big money prizes, like a million bucks for 1st place. Some call it Super Bowl of bill-fishing tournaments. The boat Citation, landed the all time tournament record fish weighing 883 pounds. It beat the 2nd place fish by more than 300 pounds.

The problem is, one crew member on the Citation did not purchase the $10 (ten dollar) non-resident recreational fishing license required by the state of NC.

Damn, they just lost a million bucks because some idiot didn’t play by the rules. You would think the captain would check shit like that. Rules are rules. The guy who failed to buy a license made a huge mistake, but, in the end, the captain is responsible.

I’m glad I wasn’t on that boat. I would show them the true meaning of Bad Bad Juju.
