Southern Literature

I am a huge fan of William Faulkner and southern literature in general. In my opinion, Faulkner is one of the best…he has a way with words. The University of Virgina, has made available, online, about 28 hours of the Nobel and Pulitzer Prize winning author’s comments when he was Writer-in Residence at Charlottesville. “Faulkner at Virginia: An Audio Archive” can be found here. You might need to do a little navigating. This is late 50’s stuff, and he reads from his works, and answers a couple thousand questions put forth by students and members of the audience. Well worth the time if you have it.
