Here in the House of Juju, we’ve had no effects from Earl at all. The county east of us is seeing some of the outermost bands, but we’re cool here. It’s breaking right, so I’m giving a big shout out to the cold front approaching from the northwest, and the high pressure system over the Atlantic. It’s not over by any means, it’s still gonna slink up the seaboard, but its downshifted to second gear. Huge difference between a tropical storm or a low gear hurricane, compared to a Category 3, 4, or 5. I’ve experienced ‘em all…I would also like to thank the powers that be for giving the nation a day off on Monday, in honor of another orbit around the sun for the Juju Woman.
