Hold On To Your Horses, It Ain’t Over By A Longshot

I just heard 0bama address the nation with his stolen, yet recovered, teleprompter. After he took credit for killing Qaddafi and liberating Libya (I wouldn’t be doing high-fives just yet), which he had no part in, he announces all troops are leaving Iraq by the end of the year. This is a two-headed snake…he needs to shore up some votes from the left, and his mob knows it. First, let me say, we could never “win” in Iraq because we (the U.S.) would not make the commitment to win. It was and is, all about politics, and the gullibility of the American people. My question is: How long do you think it will be before Iraq slips back into Chaos? Sooner than later I would imagine. It’s kind of like the Nam, our politicians got us into it, but would not let us win. Behind closed doors, it was more beneficial to them…to lose. Government, I believe, does not have my or your best interests at heart. Read between the lines.

Lets look at Afghanistan: Afghanistan has never been conquered. Afghanistan is the route to the silk, so to say. The people in Afghanistan have fought invaders and oppressors for century’s, and no nation has ever been victorious. Never. Those people will live in mud huts, drink tea, and fight to the bitter end. Nobody could defeat them. They will just as soon die, as surrender. I’m not going back far, but with modern technology…the Russians lost, the U.S, lost…everyone lost. These people will fight to the death. They always have. They will not give up one of the most inhospitable places on the planet. It is their home. Most of ‘em don’t even know where America is, but they will defend their homes at all cost. Islam knows no borders, so we’re in for a hell of a ride. They might be uneducated, and they know nothing less than survival, but they are a formidable opponent. They know nothing else. That’s where it will get more dangerous. Afghanistan will always be the home or the Afghan people, and if we think we can change that, we’re crazy.

I think all of our politicians will sacrifice the American people for votes…they just want another term (mo money). Makes me sick. They believe the American people are ignorant, and we might be. Could be a Holy War around the corner.

We have so many different problems on so many different levels, it’s scary.

The world is changing, FACT!

IMO, we are already in a Holy War.

I’m afraid you’re right. It’s going to get a whole lot worse. The last time a people were willing to die for their cause (a losing battle), whatever that might be, we had to use nuclear weapons. Big difference between Japan and Islam, but the end result might be the same. When the world starts detonating nuclear devices…we’re all fucked.

It’s always changing. And there will always be those like me who resist with all their might.

    To no avail.

What we should be doing is embracing the new and leavening with the best of the old.

I’m thinking much of the old, such as doing as one pleases, with respect to others, and ignoring the pronouncements of media and government alike will be making a major comeback. In fact I am determined to obey no law that I do not consider in my own best self interest as a Sovereign Individual.

That means The Ten Commandments as I understand them, some of the speed limits, and not going out in the rain without a hat, and damn little else.
