Snowshoes

My little buddy Stretch has genetically built in snowshoes. He can run full-blast on top of the white, although he does spin out occasionally. Too damn funny. He can also do the “snow plow”. “Stretch” in Juju speak, translates to “relentless pursuit”. He also has Radar Ears. The thrill of the chase, I think. He never ceases to amaze me. Reminds me of when I was in high school. He’s a good dog, period.

Yabu, your Stretch gives the appearance of not missing a trick. Good lookin’ dog.

You are correct…he doesn’t miss anything. Absolutely no way anyone could sneak up on me when he’s around. He is the smallest of hounds, but is fearless. Great pet…he owns me. He is truly my best friend, as I am his.

Y’all had snow this year? Jack is afraid of snow. Luckily for him we rarely have it here. When he and Stretch take over the world, Jack will gladly give Stretch the northern parts.

Not yet, that was last year, but we’ve had some ice. I am still categorizing my pictures, and found this one. Stretch has many coats and will provide Jack with one when they do a northern cold weather patrol. He will also teach Jack how to do a controlled slide. Doxies are naturally balanced for snow and ice work…don’t have far to fall when they bust-ass.

Rudi does not care for the snow or the rain or the wind, but he is a great defender and will ride the back of the couch like the great Kahuna to bark at the geese when they come in our yard. His ears could provide lift off if the wind hits em right. Gotta love a doxie. Fierce – they does it right.
