Affordable?

This an interesting analogy of some of the Obamacare the people voted for. It’s a short read. It doesn’t cover all the pork that was snuck / sneaked in.

I have many friends who are doctors, from a neurosurgeon to general dentistry, and they believe they, and we, are in deep trouble. They believe it will bankrupt the entire medical system, the quality of care will decrease, and they’re looking into a plan B.

On a somewhat related matter:

Do you think gas could hit ten bucks a gallon? Some people do.

Israel is surrounded by its enemies. There will probably be a full fledged war soon. Can Israel defend herself? Yes. Does Israel need the U.S. to resupply them? Yes. Will Obama do it ? No.

I realize Obama is not the only one responsible for wrecking our economy, but he’s putting the final nail in the coffin. After he’s done, we’re done, if we’re not already.

One way airfare from New Orleans to San José, Costa Rico is $440. I’m thinking about it.

Shit, Yabu, not much there to be optimistic about.

I suppose the shale oil boom we are partly experiencing just might keep gas below ten bucks a gallon.

Obamacare is not going to bode well for anyone involved. I was going to say especially doctors, but it is especially everyone. I have type 1 diabetes, and this socialized medicine shit is scary. I see lots of doctors, and it is increasingly difficult to get good care. It is only going to get worse, I am afraid.

The middle east is a wreck. Israel has successfully defended itself against un-believably bad odds before, let’s hope they can do it again if necessary. I agree, Obama is likely to be of little help to them. There are enough nukes in that general area to present a HUGE problem if Israel goes nuke to defend itself.

Not good times, man. Not good times…

If Israel uses nukes…new game. The future looks bleak, here and there.

I would have never thought that in my declining years, defending this hill, THE United States would fall to me. It will be a fight. It will be fun. And WE will make history. I will not be afraid.

Admittedly, I didn’t read the whole article. I did browse the whole thing though looking for a key element. One which is always brought up about many, if not all controversial laws.

That being the part about Congress members being exempt. To me that is the measure of how much a law sucks for the rest of us. If they don’t have to abide, why should we and why don’t they?!? They are, after all, citizens of the same country.

Not only are they citizens, but THEY work for US!!!

I think we should fire ‘em all, both sides. What a fucking mess. Please excuse my language.

They should abide, just like you and I.

“This is a good day to die”. A common saying among various Indian tribes, as they went into battle against other tribes, the U.S. Cavalry, or various settlers.

Good attidude for us, too. If the S truly HTF, more of us won’t be around to enjoy the results, than will.

And CKStealth? I’ll be afraid. I’ll be scared like a futhermucker. But, I’ll stand, and I’ll fight. Don’t like the odds for the outcome, either. I’m not getting onto the cattle car though, or going behind the wire, or any other such form of surrender.

The only promise I hope to fulfil is to make it expensive.
