I really feel for the people in the Northeast. I really do.
I kind of know what they’re going through. Kind of.
I once lost everything in a house fire, and I mean everything. I had nothing left. I escaped through the flames, naked. Singed all the hair off my body, burned my left hand pretty bad, even burned my nuts. Just so you know, my hand and nuts healed fine, but I was wearing double size trousers for a while, and was forced to learn how to dress myself with one hand. It was a close one, I thought I was going to burn to death. It was cold, sleeting and snowing, and it was five in the morning. The fire was so hot, the barrel of my shotgun was bent.
I had a warm place to stay, food, water, beer, and everything I needed. My friends brought me clothes. It was bad, but nothing like these folks in the Northeast.
They have nothing, and it’s cold. Cold makes a huge difference. They’ve got no way to stay warm, no food, power, water, fuel, no nothing. They’re in dire straits. Our government does not seem to be able to help. The local power companies and FEMA are lost in space. They have no plan, no power or telephone polls, they’re running around like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off. Add the Red Cross to that list as well. Our government at work. People who depend on our government to solve their problems are misguided.
If it was me, I’d call in the Military to run the show. They do have experience in these types of things.
Whatever works.

And yet I keep hearing The One’s response to Sandy helped get him re-elected.?!?
Well, that and what you already stated; the ignorant. Unfortunately, the majority of voters ARE ignorant of governmental history. Now, I will be the first to admit, so am I. BUT, I have enough of what was once known as “common” sense to understand what works and what doesn’t.
And where we are and where we are headed, DOESN’T work.
Where we are and where we’re headed is a bad place for sure. I was reading some left-wing blog, and the author was praising FEMA and the Red Cross for what a great job they’re doing. Unfuckingunbelievable. We are surrounded by idiots.
Almost makes me want to drink some of their kool-aid. Then I could be just as ignorant and blissful as the country is driven to ruin.
I so want us to be wrong about where this country is going, but…
That’s a BIG BUT. I hear you.
Looks like that big bunny hug between Obama and the poster child for the ADA governor of NJ is working out really well for those folks freezing in the dark, warding off looters with baseball bats, and getting their dinner from a dumpster.
Fucking retards, they make me sick!
The governor of NJ makes me sick as well. Traitor.
My son, Ryan, that lives on Long Island took food, clothes and new underwear to some of the people. He said the National Guard was helping handing goods out, Ryan said the 140.00 he spent on these were like a million dollars to them.
God bless him!
Good for him!
Wait on Uncle Sugar to help you and you will DIE !
You’re probably right.
