The Juju Woman and I have been eating ourselves out of the freezer as of late. We cook and freeze a lot of food. Running out of room. Time to start reloading. I’m telling you, if you don’t have a vacuum sealing machine, you need to get one. Makes a huge difference.
We took out some turkey hash (year old, but tastes like it was made yesterday) and made a pot of grits. Too good.
So here you have it:
Turkey Hash poured over piping hot grits.
I’m serious, get a vacuum sealing machine. They’re easy to use, and more than well worth it.

Our son bought us a vac sealer for our early Christmas present. Haven’t started using it in earnest yet. But we’re planning on it.
Y’all are gonna be digging it. Trust me on this.
Your post reminded my of my childhood, when my mother would stretch a turkey into weeks of food. We’d eat turkey, have turkey sandwiches for lunch for days and finally enjoy the soup made from the boiled carcass.
My mother and grandmother never wasted anything. You can get some mileage out of a turkey. Heck, I like the hash more than the straight up turkey.
I am afraid to say that I am a leftover hater. Yes I am. BUT I love food pics!! (And dinosaurs.)
I can turn you around, yes ma’am I can.
