Polls

I’m sick and tired of political polls. I don’t trust ‘em. I don’t trust the MSM at all. They tell you how they want you to vote…what they want you to believe. That want it tight, the more viewers, the more money. It’s a scam. The polling samples and models they say they use just don’t make any sense to me. Also, exit polls mean nothing, in my opinion. Count the real votes, they’ll challenge the count, take it to the courts, and we’ll know in DEC…the results will definitely be contested. Sad. The lawyers are already on station, they want the money.

I still believe Romney will win, but he won’t win tonight.

I don’t know, but I’ve been told, that pollsters don’t call cell phones. Everyone I know killed their land line years ago. They don’t need ‘em. You think that might make a difference? I’ve never been polled.

Also, on a side note, I see the “New Black Panthers” are out. I would love to be confronted by one of those racist motherfuckers. Love it!

It will be a long vote count. Take a vacation for a couple of weeks or a month.

I dream about that. I suppose “Excuse me sir, which line do I stand in to vote for Mitt Romney?” would get the ball rolling….

Hopefully tonight we can reclaim America, change course from failed socialist-inclined policies to the true promise of this grand Republic.

I cannot believe the people gave him another four years.

Looks like it was not as close as many expected. A good outcome nonetheless.

Good outcome? Who in the world do you think you’re kidding? This is a disaster.

How is it a “good outcome?”

    That puzzles me.

He is a subject of another country, a Bush hater, and most likely a Socialist. On the outside looking in for sure.

I got just as many poll calls to my cell as my landline. Hung up on them all.

“They tell you how they want you to vote…what they want you to believe.”

Yep, and the ignorant obviously listened.

    … _ _ _ …

The more I read these two quotes, the more I believe these two men meant precisely what they said:

“America will fall without a shot being fired. It will fall from within.” – Nikita Khrushchev

“America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: it’s patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within.” – Joseph Stalin

Tell me I’m wrong. I just don’t see how I am.

Son of a bitch .. the wrong email address someone got filled into my previous comment:

The times are a changin’, and I agree, we’ll go down from within. Most of our voters are too stupid to grasp the problems we’re facing, but they do know about Reality TV. Unbelievable.

I grieve for the Republic. It feels like a kick to the gut, and I am sickened and disappointed. HOWEVER, I will save my children if I have to die doing as much. They will grow up strong, smart, righteous, good, honorable, and truthful. That is my duty.

    • Posted November 8, 2012 at 1:54 am | Permalink

At least you know what a Republic is, and I, as you, feel like I’ve been kicked as well.

While I may well be “on the outside looking in”, surely you can’t say the same about the majority of your fellow citizens who voted to ensure another 4 years of Obama and who, on the basis that they voted for it, would also view the outcome as a good one rather than the disaster that you do.

Sometimes people sign a document without reading it, if you know what I mean.

I didn’t mean anything by“on the outside looking in”, you know that. Maybe I’m the one staring through the window. I will say one thing, the majority of voters here should be given a test before they’re allowed to cast a ballot. I stand by that.

    Ya know . . .

    I didn’t grieve . . . I knew what was coming.

But fight? I will, as Americans always have. We are not “our gummint” nor are we in any way defined by gummint – we are individual free citizens who must continue to insist in all ways that we will remain free.

Our numbers might decrease in the next few years, as those de Tocqueville predicted stuff their snouts into the common trough and become addicted to living out of my wallet and yours, via the communist mentality now elected.

I do not believe in American exceptionalism as commonly portrayed – the silly unconstitutional idea that we are to spread democracy all over the world. That’s happy horseshit, since we are not a “democracy” – but a constitutional Republic.

But I do believe in American exceptionalism as it truly is – we are a people who have tasted and known and lived “freedom” – and the concept will not die in the minds of Americans. I got up this morning, and the bay was still and shining like glass, the round orb of the sun rising over the bay, and the birds beginning to sing their morning praises to their Lord and mine.

My beloved bride trailed me out and we took in “America” with our coffee together; my brother and son snored on in total peace. No mere election, and no mere election of a blatant communist, will take our freedom away.

Just our knowing we are free people will defeat the Marxist ghosts, and living free!!! – keep doing that! – will prove to the petty ones seeking power through politics, that we cannot be conquered. The natural right of man to be free can never be conquered – so a minor narcissist having gotten enough money to fly free for 4 years is not really much of an inconvenience at all. However . . .

What will assist us all muchly in our understanding of freedom, is to likewise understand that voting someone into office to tell us free men what to do and how to live is a self-defeating concept.

That, we really need to ponder. Do you need someone to tell you how to live?

    Just asking . . .
