The News

I stopped watching the news, FOX included, after the last election, not because of the results, but because I’m fed up with being lied to. I’m not stupid, and I’m sick and tired of being treated as if I am. I also don’t give a shit about what some actor or actress does, their political affiliation, or anything else that concerns them. I sick of the repetitiveness. I’m sick of the same “breaking news” for days in a row, about shit that really doesn’t matter. The media tells you what they want you to hear, and what they want you to believe. I’m a firm believer of the freedom of the press, and freedom of speech, but by God, in the end it must be the truth.

So, I’m still a news junkie, but I get it all from the internet. Since it comes from the internet, it must be true, right?

And now, a song I really like…Chestnut Mare

Internet is surely better than Fox or CNBC or any televised news, which are only a platform for advertisements. I agree with you, and my BA degree is in journalism. Journalism, at least as it was supposed to be, is dead.

Just remember to take any news received from any source, with a grain of salt and a measurement of patience (time will tell more truthfully). I’ve read news reports on the net that, due to its rapid release, requires hours of time to pass before the true details are revealed…………
