1. I understand Bank of America has frozen the account of gun manufacturer American Spirit Arms The owner, Joe Sirochman says his sales are are up 500% and he’s been making larger deposits through BOM’s web deposit service. After Mr. Sirochman finally got a manager in the right department that told him the reason that the deposits were on hold for further review — her exact words were — ‘‘We believe you should not be selling guns and parts on the Internet.”
Can they do this? Is this legal? WTF is going on here?
2. This woman in Georgia was protecting her children from some dirt bag who broke in her home. She and her children ran were trapped upstairs. The bad guy kept coming, and she shot him 5 times (five in the head and once in the neck at pretty much point blank range with a .38 caliber revolver, and he lived. Something funny going on here. She was either the worst shot imaginable, or the bullets glanced off. Maybe the powder / load wasn’t right. I have no idea, but I do know a.38 should do the job close in.
Does anyone have any ideas on that? I don’t, but I am curious.
