I love to read…anything. I probably have two thousand pounds of hardback and paperback books. Every inch of my available wall space is covered with book shelves, most of ‘em floor to ceiling. I also have a Nook with a full clip. (Nook or Kindle) doesn’t matter. The Juju Woman is so addicted to hers, I’m probably going to have to put her in rehab. She even built a rig so she can read in the bath.
Anyway, a friend recommended this the other day: I don’t usually review books, but this was pretty interesting. It’s about Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP).
The forward is by Newt Gingrich and the afterward is by William D. Sanders.

I just moved it to my Kindle wish list.
I got a $50 kindle gift card from my wife for Christmas, now I am trying to chose how to spend it. This is a strong maybe.
It’ll make you think.
Heh.
Why is it some tend to be so much more circumspect when using a gift card than when they’re just flippin’ out the jack?
I cannot spend a gift card at Cabela’s: I can’t make a decision that I feel all wonderful about. Consequently I give the card to my wife who does not suffer my impediment. She spends it both gladly and frivolously yet I am grateful and I thank her.
A rig to read in the bath? Do tell. All I’ve got is a ziploc bag.
Jon, you are exactly right. I have a hard time using a gift card, but ponying up the cash for a book never seems to be an issue.
I read it last year, it was very compelling and frightening.
I have recently rediscovered the joy of audio books whilst I work and drive. Have you read “The Art of Racing in the Rain” or “A Dog’s Purpose?” Keep Kleenex handy.
Gawd. Racing the Rain killed me. I was bawling so bad at the end.
