I don’t usually make ‘em, but this year I’m gonna read a book a week, plus some re-reads. The Juju Woman and I received a couple of two-hundred dollars in Nook Books which we used this morning. We have more. On top on what we already have, we’ve got a pretty good library going on. Nook or Kindle, makes no difference to me, but I do prefer the plain white background with black ink as opposed to color. Easier on the eyes. Not to mention, we have a zillion of hard and paper backs. Now, I just need her to build me a custom bedside table lamp.
I truly hope this year fairs better than it did the last year(s) for most people I know, although it’s not looking good, so who knows. My friends are smart people.There are exceptions to everything, but with the exception of a very few people I know, everyone is in worse shape.Many are having to change the lifestyle they’ve grown accustomed. Many people just lay back and wait. They’re the ones in the deepest trouble. They think it can never happen to them. They say,”it’s coming back, don’t worry” I would like to know who in they’re talking and listening to. Wait, I have a pretty good idea. I predict they’re gonna be some really pissed off people once Obama starts implementing God knows what. He is living in a different reality. I’m a realist, and it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see whats at the bottom of the cliff. No pun intended. I’m afraid 2013 is going to bring some major changes, for the worse.
Stay tight with your friends, and do not believe for a second that our current government or the media has your best interest at heart. We’re entering uncharted territory. Even my dog Stretch will fight when backed into a corner.

Most people that read my blog or comments don’t know, but 2012 was a horrid year for me. I kept it to myself because A) no use clogging people’s lives with that crap, and 2) my business
This year will be better. It can’t be worse!
2012 was a bad year for many people, and many won’t admit it. They’re part of the problem. Miss Aggie, I try to be a pessimist, but I have some major concerns with the people driving the D.C. bus, as well as their supporters. We have so many problems on so many different levels, I don’t know where to start. What a mess.

We are in uncharted territory, however the populace have no idea what they are in for. Instead, the remain complacent. Nothing else matters to them. Only Dancing With The Stars does. So sad.
My sister’s boyfriend made an interesting point, and it’s one I never thought of before:
Most of the stuff in the top 10 displays at the Smithsonian are those involving Hollywood. The MASH “swamp” set, Archie Bunker’s chair, Fonzi’s jacket and so on. Stuff that’s totally made up, stuff that’s not real. What the hell is wrong with this nation? No wonder we’re so fucked up.
We are truly,”Lost in Space”. People are creating and living in their own realities.
