Protection, Just In Case

Everyone needs a good camp gun, and I’m not talking about a shotgun. I’m speaking of a rifle.

I prefer a lever action, short, easily singable chambered in big bore caliber 45-70. A 45-70 will take any animal in North America, and most in Africa.

I love this gun.

I am sure that’s one of the “assault weapons” defined by Diane Feinstein to be banned. Many handguns, shotguns, and rifles are. I still say she should be arrested and jailed for downright treason.

Feinstein and many others to be sure.

I didn’t see it on the list, but if you ever come across one, get it. It will pretty much drop anything you might come across. Food for your family, bad guys, cars, you name it.

I should take a pic of my collection, but I’m afraid one day the government will knock on my door holding it asking “Sooo, where are these?”

Miss Laura, you would love this 45-70. Not scoped, iron sites, and it fires every time you fire it. I’m not speaking of you, but most woman-folk don’t like to fire it. Kicks like a motherfucker.

Too bad mine fell in the river during a fishing trip.

I personally love firing weapons with kick.
