Anyone want to venture a guess? I’ll post what it is in a few days unless someone beats me to it. I can take some weird photos.

Beans, possibly small red bean, or perhaps black beans.

‘Tis moderately heated gas grill lava rocks under a light falling snow. Have seen that many a time here while grilling in winter. Now let’s see what you’ve grilled! However, if what we see here is supper at your house and are indeed cooked beetles you have finally reached the endpoint for food pictures. I can only imagine what sauce you’d put on them or, God forbid, what wine would be appropriate.

But clues are important. Since there are no extinct lizards loitering about it can’t be “food”. I’ll stay pat with my wager on the lava & snow.
