I was having a conversation / discussion with some friends the other night, and we got on this “gun thing”, and one thing led to another. Forget about the guns. Gun confiscation is as excuse to control people. Why so many people don’t understand how the world turns, or don’t care. Those people are followers. Those people are the ones that believe (have) the, “it’s not really a problem, we’ll just nuke ‘em” attitude. These people have no idea the world is flat. They have no idea what happens when you detonate a nuclear device, much less a bunch of ‘em. They have no idea about a bunch of stuff, and it pisses me off. There are more people out there like that than you might imagine.
Then we moved on to the financial markets, etc. Can the stock market crash? Of course it can. How, and how might a total social and economic economic collapse take place. On the side, if you think the government can’t get your IRA’s, 401k’s, etc, you’re not paying attention.
This is an interesting piece that everyone should read. I’m not agreeing or disagreeing, but it will make you think. All of us are in a big damn mess. Fact.
I’m sick and tired of hearing people say, “there is nothing I can do about it, so I don’t worry about it,” or the economy is coming back, don’t you watch the news?” If people believe the surge in the stock market in the last few days is an indication of anything, they’re smoking something.
People say it can never happen…I hope they’re right.
At least you can still watch Reality TV, for now.
At least my little buddy Stretch still digs catching some rays on his ugly psychedelic blanket and makes me smile and ensures no one can sneak up on me or the Juju Woman.

Too true. Most people can’t see much beyond their own existence. Barring a huge social upheaval, they will still pour the milk on their Cheerios tomorrow morning, and that is all they care about. Tried to explain the simple logic of supply and demand as it relates to the Dow to my liberal Dad, ie. the more printed money there is, the more worthless it becomes, therefore, the more it takes to buy stock in companies, thus the DJIA goes through the roof. Wait until inflation hits. Ah well…
Nice pic of Stretch, BTW. I love the lighting.
I really don’t understand people sometimes. Baffles the shit out of me.
Stretch knows every “sun spot” in the house by time of day.
Sometimes it doesn’t bear thinking about, but thatis what we must do, 24/7.
Sad, but true. I’ll tell you, I’ve got a bad feeling about this. I’ve never seen things so fucked up, and I blame much of it on our broken education system.
I blame much of it on our broken education system. Look at what its turned out. A bunch of clueless, self important, materialistic dunderheads.
I have a very bad feeling about this as well. I believe it’s coming. If it never comes, I’ll be damn surprised.
It just keeps getting worse, not better. Scary.
I”ve got all the ammo I need, and can use it to get more ammo.
And 10x on the printing/DJIA/’flation thing. Takes a metric assload of miseducation to be able to blind one’s self to such an obvious action/reaction formulation.
But, willful self-ignorance is the hallmark of leftism. Always has been and always shall be.

Agreed…we need people who can “at least” make a decision and look down the road a tad bit.
He is so adorable! Tell him Jack says “HI!”
Hi! Jack back….
Great picture of Stretch. Sums up “home.”
Thanks, he’s a great dog. A little mischievous on occasion, but who isn’t.
