The Point Of No Return
After vigilant review, Yabu has determined the following statement is the biggest lie of 2005.
"Iran insists that its intentions in pursuing nuclear technology are peaceful."
If anyone, in his or her wildest imagination, believes that Israel (or the US for that matter) will allow Iran to go nuclear, is ignorant. If anyone, in his or her wildest imagination, believes that Iran will not nuke Israel, is ignorant.
This will not emulate the June 7, 1981 attack by Israel on the Osirak nuclear facility in Iraq. That was a clear, above ground target, a piece of cake for the Israeli Air Force. Iran will be different. Iran has redundant facilities in underground-hardened bunkers located in civilian neighborhoods. Thanks to the French, Germans, and Russians.
I believe Iran’s nuclear capabilities should be destroyed before they can weaponize enriched uranium. Not after. After will be too late. If Iran is allowed the hold the world hostage by choosing when to launch a nuclear attack (and they will), we’re all in trouble.
Big Trouble.
I am not a warmonger, but I do believe a little preventive maintenance is sometimes required. Sanctions will not work. The stakes are too great.
So, two questions:
When is the point of no return?
What happens after Iran is attacked?
This is some Bad Bad Juju.

Funny I think the only folks that wonder if Iran is on the up and up is the Dems in this country and Europe. Russia knows for sure and is helping make the damn thing.

Which really sucks big time because nuclear power really is the answer to all this energy crisis, you know? Well, the point of no return is certainly not a launch...and I don't know. Hell, we hadn't even sorted out the North Koreans on that issue yet, have we?

What happens after Iran is attacked?
If done right, they will no longer have a nuke program which is what the purpose of the whole thing would be.
I could hang with that.

I think we need to hold the high ground on this.
They're called kinetic energy weapons... Hardened bunkers won't be a whole lotta good against such non-nuclear devices coming in at near orbital velocities. Just my opinion!
