Shredders
I guess everyone needs a shredder nowadays. So much sensitive shit coming in the mail.
Identity theft is some bad bad juju.
I use to just bag it and burn it…the ultimate shredder is fire. But, my Bitch informed me the last time I did a load that it smelled really really bad. It was just the normal stuff you’d receive in the mail.
Anyway, I bought a shredder…a decent one I thought…300 bucks…I destroyed it in 15 minutes. I kid you not, that fucker was as dead as dead could be. I even followed the directions…piece of shit, I say. I did get my money back.
I have a friend of mine who is employed by the CIA…no kidding. Do you think he can get me a deal on the real deal?
Shredders are overrated…Fire is not…it works every time.
I’m gonna have to set the Juju Lady straight on this matter.
Does anyone have any experience with the destruction of sensitive material?

We have a cheap ass shredder, and when I say cheap, I mean the cheapest one in the store. And that little SOB has done bags and bags of shred at one sitting like it's nothing. It also survived a cross country move and some other hard knocks. So go out to wally world or tarzhay and get yourself the $20 model, and that'll do you fine.

I once had to shred a couple hundred grams of pharmaceutical-grade cocaine. Broke my heart, it did.

We've had a cheapo Staples special for a few years now and it's still working fairly well. What the hell you tryin' to shred, Yabu?

In a former life, I used to use a shredder that cut documents into confetti measuring 1/16 x 1/4 inch, then bag the confetti, take the bags to an incinerator, burn the bags, stir the ashes halfway through burning, shovel the ashes out of the incinerator, then stir the ashes again in the trash bins. When we were finished, there was not a particle big enough to see, let alone recreate the documents with.

I got one for Christmas a couple of years ago. I think it took me about two months to completely destroy it.

I put my sensitive stuff in the neighbors trash. Then those Identity thievers will not know where I live.
I also have found that if you label every one of your garbage cans with your name, address, SSN and DOB, they never tear open your bags looking for bills and such.
I have other ideas if you need them.
Oh, and I just buy the cheapo shredder at WalMart for 30 bucks, it last about three months, cheap and efficient.

dog shit is good. Rotten soupy leftovers also work great.

Fire is your best bet. Just don't burn the envelopes that have those little plastic windows in them. Those just melt, stink, and gunk up your stove (assuming you use a wood stove). I like to save up all my sensitive materials, then use them to get the stove going in the winter. It's fun to play with fire.

... handled "sensitive material" every day, man..... we ran it through a shredder and bagged it.... and twice a week we tossed the shredder-filled bags into the ovens and burned it all..... the only thing that left our complex was smoke...

Fire will destroy pretty much whatever gets in it way. Trust me on that one.

Yes, this works very good:
Soak the paper in water overnight, pour the batch into the blender and hit "puree", Very pretty mess too, and then pour into the garden:
Or
pour the blended mess into a shallow pan and let the water evaporate, and get creative with the remainder. Experiment with different colors & shades, a little food coloring on each batch. Take a paint roller and start rolling the walls for a very unique and different room decor.
Serious here, just saying
Destroy the PII and have fun while decorating your house. And please upload pics after transforming one wall of the house.
Your Welcome
