Coup d’état

The strange phone call:

I've been asked for my participation, support, and planning in the execution of a coup d’état Take that however you want. Although I'm flattered this band / mob would want / need my participation...I'll probably sit this one out. I do appreciate the fact they understand they need someone to drive and control / think through current and future events...I really do, but, sometimes, in matters like this...it is better to watch from a distance, but sometimes it's not.

It's a toss.

Do I provide advice, or not? Do I get in the game, or not?

Very interesting...

Bottom Line: I would love to see them succeed, but without guidance...they will probably drop the ball.

Once you begin down a path like this...there is no turning back...

Anyone want to comment on this situation?

Switchblade

Hell no, but it is a Assisted-Opening Knife, which means pretty much the same thing.

I love this..."users are responsible for investigating laws applicable to assisted-opening knives in their jurisdiction"

Bwahahahahah!!!!

This is small, light...and sweet.

You cannot believe how many times I've been to my grandmothers and have been asked to slice a tomato on a moments notice.

A Little Juju

Just talking...about Moo Duk Kwan

In the past, I spent 25 months with this guy. He is, by far, one of the most interesting people I've ever met. Not only is he the most confident person I've ever known...he is the most accomplished person in matters of "defusing a bad situation" I've ever known. He is the guy who used acupuncture to heal my knee. It worked. He is the guy who made me appreciate fresh cut flowers. He is about my size, and is the one who taught me not to walk on my tip toes. He taught me to spin the sticks. He taught me how to think fast. He taught me some long sword, and some short blade. He taught me some long staff. He taught me confidence. He taught me speed. He taught me size doesn't matter. We played a lot of chess. We are friends.

He, above all, believes in compassion.

Now, having said this, my conclusion is he is the baddest motherfucker I know...and I know some bad asses.

Kind of Mystical...

He has the Juju.

If That Can Could Talk...

...I'd be in jail.

I was visiting with an old friend the other day and he gave me a reminder of the balls we use to have. You would not believe where that can has been, and what has been hidden inside of it. We were crazy...and lucky.

It is weighted perfectly...just like a can of oil...but it ain't a can of oil. It is for moving stuff you don't want anyone to know about. It has been through many airports and across many borders. The damn thing makes me sweat every time I look at it...brings back some memories for sure.

It is now retired to the shadows in the Juju crib...empty...forever.

Riff Raff

Just so you know, I did not take this picture from my kitchen back door. I did not. My woman and I look like the Clampetts'

See those flower pots in the back? A bit of a zoom lens. That's where I sight my .177 Benjaman every year. Good thing is...my aim is always true. Bad thing is...I need new flower pots every year.

Anyway, a nice 1200 fps one-pump pellet gun is a good thing to have around. Silent but deadly. Squirrels and Rabbits hate it.

I down shifted from a .22 to a .177 for velocity.

I Don't Care What Anybody Says...

...Windows is fucked up. Get a life. Get a Mac. Get *NIX. Get real.

When machines piss me off, I move 'em to yard art, or horse shoes, or worse. I will stake the motherfucker that doesn't mind.

For goodness sake...My dog hates Windows...he will piss on it.

He is a smart dog....

In comparison to more robust operating systems... Windows is in the ice age, and I can prove it.

Mind's Eye

The rocks of various sizes are arranged on small white pebbles in five groups, each comprising five, two, three, two, and three rocks. The garden contains 15 rocks arranged on the surface of white pebbles in such a manner that visitors can see only 14 of them at once, from whichever angle the garden is viewed. According to legend, only when someone attains spiritual enlightenment as a result of deep Zen meditation can he see the last invisible stone with his mind's eye.

Here We Go Again

Dash's friend shared a picture of him and his mother when he was a young Black Ass Howling Dash

That's him hiding behind her skirt.

We should stuff him with cream cheese and Jalapeños,wrap him in Bacon, and grill his ass.

Bwahahahahah!!!...We've got better cameras this time around.

A New Year, The Same Struggle

Something to think about:

Is the world being flat a good thing?

We live in a global society where everything we do affects others, and everything they do affects us. Every time we purchase anything made abroad, we contribute to a global network that has a negative impact on us...and on the lives of boo coo people you'll never meet. Every time we do this, we spank on our own personal budgets which reduces our ability to provide for our families.

If we are not secure internationally...domestic policies won't matter. Sad but true.

We live in troubled times.

Fucking Crazy...has many meanings, and can be interpreted in many ways...but it does not, in my opinion, involve violence against innocent people.

Suicide bombings and the extermination of civilians is some Bad Bad Juju.

This ain't a football game.

This could be a perpetual war.

Keep in mind, foreign intervention has never worked before, and I don't believe it will work now...but we do have to look after ourselves.

We live in troubled times.

Islamic Extremism opposes everything I believe in. Everything from to A to Z.

The times are a' changing...

RERUN

Yesterday, I saw an old flatbed that reminded me of this.

I look back on some of the shit I've done, and even I can't believe it.
