UNIX = STAMINA

Regarding my previous post:

I also have a SCO UNIX box that has been running for 3,347 days, or 9 years and 2 months, without a involuntary reboot. I took it down twice...the first time is when I had to move it to a different city...the second time when we installed a natural gas UPS / Generator. It is like the damn energizer bunny...it just keeps on running...and running. I took it out of production, but it is still running...I use it primarily for backups of a backups...and of course, for puttting any and everything I want out there. Boo Coo Gig...

Damn thing is amazing.

I will say this...I do loves me some Linux, but my SCO box should be bronzed.

I like to keep my stuff up as long as I can.

I'm half-expecting you to post a pic from Belize of you wearing a T-shirt that says "*nix admins know how to keep it up!"
