The Juju Woman needed a bedside table reading lamp, so she made this. The white glass makes it brighter, but not too bright.
It has 108 pieces (cuts), is 48 .in tall, is 29 .in at the diameter of the shade, and each shade panel is 1.75 in. X 8.00 in, and is 12 in. long.

Another one from the Juju Woman. It’s 9.5 W 7.5 T. It was supposed to be a Christmas gift for a friend. She broke it when she was packing it. Damn, that’s a first. Too late start over now, plus we have a backlog that will be tight to meet. Gonna have to come up [...]

We had so many entries I decided to put ‘em all in a hat and let Stretch pick six. Hell, he picked ‘em all at once.
A little story about the hat: I was drinking in a bar on St. Croix, in the U.S. Virgin Islands with the local hat weaver. Bought him a couple of [...]
The Juju Woman did a little cartoon glass. It’s 8.5 X 8.5. Looks great when the sun rises and sets, and in the middle of the day. I’m digging the beads. Beads add something, I don’t exactly know what that is, but they do add something.
Since the Juju Woman and I are swapping offices, which is a pain in the ass, I moved my first piece. I made this all by my lonesome with scrap glass., and some band aids. It’s about 8.5 X 10.5. Never thought I would hang it. I was just trying learn how to cut [...]
As you might know, I’ve been doing some stained glass as of late. I’m not good at it, but I do enjoy it. Also, I break a lot of glass, cut myself often, and need a bunch of band-aids. I’m a mess, and I’ll be the first one to admit it, but I’m not giving [...]

This is interesting. Might not be as a big of dog as we thought. You would think the U.S. would have thought about close in air to air combat before they spent 400 -500 million on a (each) new jet. I realize, the Raptor can see way farther than visual range, but can you shoot [...]
Stretch getting to know a horse. Last time he was at the farm, he almost got killed by a 2000 lb. bull. Damn close, it was. So, I kept him harnessed just in case…first contact, anyway. Those damn doxies are fearless. I kid you not. Almost stupid fearless. He has no fear, he just goes [...]

…or looking for the light.
This is now hanging (temporally) in her Aunt’s kitchen 500 miles away. What’s really cool…when the sun is at the right angle, you can see almost an exact reflected image in her living room. Whether is stays there or not, who knows. It all depends on the angle of the sun [...]
