Triceratops

I just made this for the hell of it…my 4th piece, and 4 band-aids later. I’m telling you, cutting glass is dangerous business. Anyway, I like the green…not so much the grey, but what do I know? It was a test drive, and it hurt. It’s 12 inches from the top of the horn to [...]

Juju Lamps

Here are a few from the Juju Woman. Sorry, the photos are less than desirable. I should try harder. Anyway, she just sold these. She does ‘em custom…these were for conservative hippies. I will say packing ‘em is a bitch. She’ll make you one if you want. Hell, she’ll do [...]

Test Stepping Stone

The Juju Woman decided she was going to make stained glass stepping stones. This is her 1st test…just a test…14 inches on the angles, but she can build ‘em any size. I like it, and I get to keep it. She’ll end up doing about thirty for her father (different multiple patterns [...]

Juju Raptor

Laugh all you want, but this only is my third piece, and I ain’t giving up. Ever heard of biting off more than you can chew? Glass work is more complicated than I thought. I can see more mistakes than I have digits on my hands and feet, but not more mistakes [...]

Yin Yang Fish

The Juju Woman made this for the hell of it. We hung it horizontally as opposed to vertically, but that can be changed. It’s not a great picture…sun wasn’t right. Anyway, the diameter is 17 inches. Notice…the fish are not the same. I need a name for it. Help me out.

Pain In The Glass

I woke up this morning and I got myself a beer. Not really, but it continues to snow. Global warming for sure. No problem, I finished the “Mistake”…I learned a lot from it. I will tell you…Stained Glass is much more complicated than I imagined. This is piece number two, and it whipped my [...]

Cut And Burned

I decided not long ago to learn “stained glass”. It is more complicated, and takes much longer, than I thought. The Juju Woman is very good at it…she does windows, lamps, kaleidoscopes, peppers, blades, scenes, etc…you name it. It’s a dangerous business…I have band-aids on several cuts and burns. Last night, I sliced [...]
