R.I.P. Leonard Skinner

Leonard Skinner died yesterday. He was the teacher who inspired the name for the band Lynyrd Skynyrd. I was living in St. Augustine at the time and saw them before they got big, and many times after they were big time. Those were some wild times.

That would be J’Anna Jacoby on the mandolin…holding her own with Ronnie Wood. Yabu likes a pretty mandolin player with a pretty smile. She can get all the way down with it. Absolute talent. Turn it up…loud.
