I’ve had some recent communications in the last few days from some people around here. Their idea, not mine. They want to back me, and want me to get into local politics. They want to vote for me if I do. They really want me to do it, and they are serious. They want me to explain my views to the public. They want me to tell it like it is from my perspective to others. They want me to run for some local office. They believe they can get me elected. I take that as a compliment, and I can pass a background check, but I told ‘em I say “fuck” too much and have been known to talk about the good thing on occasion. They told me that wasn’t a problem, they could fix it. Fix it how? What needs to be fixed? Damn weird is all I can say. I have been known to be a tad bit opinionated on occasion, but these fuckers are serious. So, just for the sake of curiosity, I will meet with them. This will be a good one.

This offer came out of the blue, but I will investigate it further. It is a 99% no go, but I will listen to what they have to say, and why they think I can help them. Weird stuff happens.

Very fucking interesting, if I don’t say so myself.

I snapped this while damn near drunk and staggering around with my friends a year or so ago. Just kidding about the staggering and drunk stuff, but it is one of nicest places I’ve been. Anguilla, BWI. Once there, it doesn’t take long to get into the groove. Fresh fish, homemade rum, cockfights…laid back. If I ever have to break for cover, you can find me there. Seriously, nice place. The latitude and climate is perfect. Never gets cold, never gets too hot.

I am prejudice, yes I am. I’m prejudice against ignorance. I could care less if someone is black, white, red, yellow, or pink purple polka dotted. I am American, plain and simple. I’m not a European American (although that’s where my ancestors came from) , a African American, a Asian American, a Hispanic American, a Klingon American, a Native American, a Arabic American,,,etc, but I am an American…I am a Mutt. I’m not Northern, Southern, Eastern, or Western…I am a Mutt of doubtful pedigree, and proud of it. I am who I am. I can’t change my roots. We live in troubled times these days, and maybe all of us Mutts can for once…make a decision that is best for all. I have many friends of all color, and I hope they will follow principals and convictions, not color. Color and Race does not matter in the end, or at all.

It makes no difference where you came from, but it does make a difference where you’re going.

Doing The Math

This is worth watching. Anyway, after Silent America was published, I bought twenty or so copies to gift to friends and their older children (stocking suffers) at Christmas. You should read them, Bill whittle has a way of putting things in perspective. I don’t know if it’s available in a e-book format, if not, snag the soft cover. It’s well worth it. Trust me on this…it gets a high rating from the House of Juju.

A New Acquisition

Twist And Turns And Shout

Interesting night last night, interesting day today.

It’s all about the money, and that is way fucked up. I would bet the “founding fathers” are rolling over in their graves right now. Hell, most of the people who will be deciding this election, don’t even know who the founding fathers were, much less what they stood for, and their vision for a free government run by the people for the people, is way out of their grasp. Most of these people could not explain the differences between a Constitutional Republic and a Democracy. These same people, elected Obama…”I’ll never have to pay my mortgage or buy my gas” type of people. Damn!

I find it disgraceful that candidates must buy the office they’re running for, but it is what it is. No money…no chance of being elected. I think the media has a lot to do with this. Just my opinion.

So Michelle Bachmann quit, Rick Perry has all but quit, Ron Paul should throw in the towel, Romney might be able to get a job at a Waffle House, Newt Gingrich is in for blood. Can Rick Santorum win? Who can beat Obama? I don’t care who it is, just so Bobo is defeated. Like I said, it’s all about the money. Obama has about a billion dollars to fire at the opposition. That’s a lot of cash.

Big mess, and if I were you, I’d be thinking about what you’re gonna do when the government tells you what you can and cannot do. The garbage police are on the way.

The real question is: Who can beat Obama’s money?

I understand that the whackos in Iran are threatening to close the Strait of Hormuz if sanctions are imposed. Iran’s navy stands no chance against the U.S. Navy, or European Navies. No chance at all. If our government would allow our military to “get the job done fast”, Iran would no longer have a navy. The U.S. alone, could probably sink their entire fleet in less than a week. Might be a good thing. Most of the oil that moves through the Strait of Hormuz is destined for China or Europe, and they’re not gonna let that happen, nor are we. If Iran does attempt to block the shipping route, it just might the first shots fired in another war we can’t afford, unless we took all the oil. The world is so dependent on oil, economies can not survive without it. That’s a fact. If Iran closes the shipping lanes, it will basically shut down its own economy, and they will lose in the end. That’s not gonna happen. Eventually, we will have to deal with Iran, and Iran knows this, and they also know they need nuclear bombs and missiles to get in the game. They are not quite there yet, but will be soon. They need more time, which the world is apparently ready and willing to give them. Do not take Israel out of the equation, they will do whatever is necessary to survive. I would too.

Unfortunately, I believe there will be a nuclear confrontation sooner than later. Nobody wins that game, and it really doesn’t matter in which direction the wind blows. There is no way to stay upwind everywhere.

It would have to be a very extreme situation for Iran to press the button, so to speak, but Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his mob are crazy. They believe everyone who does not believe as they do, should be killed. Dangerous people they are.

We should build more oil refineries now, drill all of the oil we can on our own soil now, mine all the coal possible, and build as many nuclear plants as needed to support our energy needs for the foreseeable future. We’re not ready for Green. We must do what we already know how to do. We must also stop buying oil, and giving money to, from our enemies. Fuck ‘em, we can make it on our own, and be self sufficient.

We face troubled times ahead, and everyone will be forced to adapt in one way or another.

There are many bottom lines in this mess, but one thing is for certain…there is no way we can pay off our national debt. Mathematically impossible. What happens then?
