Anyway, here’s a couple of pictures of a beautiful mom and her baby at Keeneland, and some Buffalo Trace White Dog Mash #1. Corn , Rye and Barley. Proof: 125 (62.5%). Never been aged, fresh from the Still. I’m telling you, that Dog Mash is some Bad Bad Juju. Strong, but not as strong as Burns Blue Beads Clear.

This video which is all over everywhere (no link here) and documents a rant by North Carolina Social Studies teacher and a student is unbelievable. What is sadly believable, is we have teachers like them teaching our kids. I never had a teacher who could not speak proper english and who could not enunciate words. I’ve also never had a teacher or professor scream at me like that. I,ve also never had ateacher or professor who didn’t research what they “were” teaching. I’m not the greatest writer in the world, I’m more of a math person, but I’ve recently read some graduation high school senior term papers, and I couldn’t believe it. Seventh or eighth grade level, but they can sure as hell play some video games, text, and watch a bunch of television. They can drive a smart phone.

The education system in the U.S. is in dire straits, and if we don’t fix it Obama’s “shovel ready jobs” they will be the only jobs they can find, maybe. Digging a ditch.

One more thing, kids don’t read books anymore, that’s a huge problem.

Bottom line, we need to fix the teachers first, but that will be a huge task.

This is right before she put it to the heat. Lots of garlic and herbs from our garden. Been marinating for a while. I’m gonna build a couple of casseroles. Some people say we have it backwards, I say we’ve got it down.

Hand Signals

I’m teaching Stretch hand signals, for the hell of it. I’m trying to do it like they do it on an aircraft carrier flight deck. I have no idea what they really do, but I give a little salute, take a knee, point one arm towards the door, and give him a thumbs up with my other arm. He launches just about every time. Too damn funny, and too damn cool. His call sign is his first name, unless I want to call him by his middle name, which is Cornbread. He will also follow those same hand directions whichever way you point. Amazing. He just about has it down. When he traps, all I have to do is shake a container with some dry food in it, and he’s calling the ball.

I should go into the Doxie training business, because they are as stubborn as stubborn can be. So am I.

I had to do a little voting yesterday. Here in North Carolina, voters approved the amendment defining marriage as a union exclusively between a man and a woman. I understand that President Obama is’”Disappointed” with the NC ban on Gay Marriage. Disappointed? The people voted, and I certainly hope he’s disappointed in November. Whatever, I believe the people have the right to CHOOSE. I do not believe the government has the same right to choose for them.

Just my opinion.

Last week I bought a new lawn mower. Fired the Mexicans, and their master. Charged me too much, and it was a favor to a preacher man who is a back woods sayer. Full of shit is all I can say. Fuck him, he lost!

Anyway, my new lawn mower is bright orange, and the Juju Woman has already started putting decals on it. Too funny. I have a NASCAR lawn mower. Kind of.

So, I’m having a little nappie-poo this afternoon, and the new fucking lawn mower wakes me and Stretch up. I’m all like, what the fuck. She comes close to the front dining room windows, and yells…”bring me a cold beer”. How cool is that? So, I fetch a cold one, and I’m standing out there like the Statue of Liberty, with a cold beer. I can’t make this shit up. She cruised by and snagged it, and winked, and stayed on course.The Juju Woman is not right, but she is resourceful. I kid you not. One armed mowing with a cold beer in the other hand. I’m telling you, the Juju Woman is all the way downtown with many things. Damn, the yard looks good. She chose to mow the grass, instead of going swimming. She’s way too fucklng cool, and it has nothing to do with cutting the yard. I owe her a car wash…she is a hell of a negotiator. I think we’ll break even, as always. When we slow dance, we always tell the truth.

New Ride

Well, I received my new computer, a MacBook Pro. Sweet and as fast as a good looking woman should be. My backups restored and my applications migrated and updated with no problems at all. None. I have all my data to the bit. I still have a few wrinkles to iron, but no big deal. Everything came across perfectly.

I can’t tell you how important it is to have good (multiple) backups. I’m serious, back your stuff up in multiple places or on multiple devices.

This new box is a little different though. I’ve had many laptops since there were laptops, but this one is way too cool. Fast like you would not believe. The second display is seamless…runs like a scalded dog. Boots in 15 seconds, or less.

It’s almost like it knows what I want it to do without telling it.

I’m not getting into the operating system stuff. Many people don’t like a Mac. I could care less, but I’ve used ‘em all…operating systems that is.

A Mac is like slow dancing with a beautiful woman who wants to take you home.
